1. Who we are

Open Road Collective is a volunteer-run virtual trucking community. This site is operated by the ORC staff team.

2. What we collect

This site does not require an account. We store basic server logs and security logs, and your cookie preference. Reports sent through the Report a concern form are stored as described on that page; anonymous reports are stored without your name, Discord account or IP address.

3. Security

To protect the site against attacks we use a firewall and log suspicious requests and failed logins, including the IP address involved. Staff accounts are protected with two-factor authentication. Security logs are only used to keep the site safe and are deleted after 30 days.

4. Cookies

Necessary cookies remember your cookie choice. Embedded content, such as the Discord widget, is only loaded if you accept it.

5. How long we keep data

Server and security logs are deleted after 30 days. Reports are kept for up to 12 months. Your cookie preference is stored for 12 months.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete data we hold about you. Contact us through Discord.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page and announce it on Discord.
